| PACS Group, Inc - Cumulative Facility Count |
Founded in 2013, it is a healthcare service company that provides nursing services with independently operated facilities and currently has more than 200 acute care facilities across nine U.S. states and serves more than 20,000 patients daily, and the corresponding increase graph can be seen.
Acute treatment facilities are facilities used when the patient's disease progress suddenly worsens and needs quick treatment, and when the patient's condition changes rapidly, so they need professional nursing services. Because it requires skilled nursing services, it requires expertise and provides services such as nursing for the elderly and life support.
In the process of growing the company, it is said that it mainly acquired underperforming long-term nursing facilities and converted them into short-term specialized nursing facilities using the expertise of the company to expand them.
The company's operations are distributed local operations and operate specialized nursing facilities (SNFs) for continuous post-acute care, providing cost-effective facility-based care to patients who have been discharged from hospitals but still need 24-hour inpatient services, and the scale of the SNF industry is also growing rapidly.
The SNF industry is highly regulated due to its strict compliance obligations, and regulations reduce the number of SNFs, but the industry is large and continuously growing, and this part is also an advantage of the current PACS group.
As a healthcare provider, CMS quality measurements also reported that all facilities had an average rating of 4.1, and the industry average was 3.6, providing better quality service to customers than other healthcare companies.
Currently operating in the U.S. include Arizona, California, Colorado, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, South Carolina, and Texas, which are expected to expand their influence in nine more states and then enter the new states, appealing to them as a sustainable business due to the rapid aging of the population over the age of 65 and the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases.
It has a CAGR of 63.3% over the past three years, with most of its revenue coming from Medicare and Medicaid.
Medicare is a social security system implemented by the U.S. government that provides health insurance to people 65 or older and those with certain qualifications, and Medicaid is the U.S. National Healthcare Assistance System for low-income people and people with disabilities under the age of 65. It accounts for 47.6% and 30.2% of total revenue, respectively.

Other Info
Currently, the risk factors for the company are as follows.
- Staff recruitment and labor costs may increase if competition for nurses, assistants, and other skilled personnel intensifies or falls short.
- Most of the revenue is coming from Medicare, Medicaid, and other government healthcare programs and payments by third-party payers, including private insurance institutions, which may be negatively affected by changes in government policies.
- Regulation or deregulation of the healthcare industry may impair the ability to expand.
- As a medical service industry, large-scale settlements or damages may occur in the event of a large-scale complaint.
- Exposed to real estate risk because most facilities are leased and used.
The plan to use proceeds from the current offering is to use approximately $330 million, or about 89% of the expected net proceeds, to repay the outstanding amount and use the rest for general corporate purposes, it said.
